We went there as a group of 3 couples for dinner after visiting the local wineries and were very disappointed. Neither the margaritas or the food were good. I didn?t use the restroom but my 2 girlfriends did and they said there was a hole in the bathroom wall. Who has a hole in the bathroom wall?

We spent a few days in Hermann and ate here after reading reviews. We weren't disappointed! In fact it was so good that we went back a second time for drinks and an appetizer. The man who waited on us (both days) was excellent. The food was hot and came out quickly. They have the best salsa and serve warm chips. The drinks were great and the servings large, prices good. If not from the area it is a bit tricky to find but well worth visiting. Definitely better than anywhere else we ate in Hermann and it didn't cost as much. We will be back when in the area. Great management, other restaurants in the area could learn a thing or two. Keep up the good work!!

We have gone there twice, and both times we have been impressed with the quality of food and quantity. Two shared a single fajita Texana. Excellent! We could barely finish the platter.

My friend and I had lunch at Dos Primos on a Friday afternoon during Octoberfest. The trolley actually took us there and picked us up! I don't think that would have been possible on a Saturday or Sunday during Octoberfest. We really enjoyed our lunch we chose one of the specials. It was a great destination while waiting to check in at our B&B

This place is very reasonable in prices & very friendly staff. They have the best margarita in town.

Tough place to review. Atmosphere was very nice, food was was very good, and the service was hit or miss. Two people were working the floor and neither was particularly attentive. While getting our food was quick, it almost seemed like we were bothering them. It wasn't so bad we were getting upset, just noticeable. Overall a better than solid experience because the food was that good. Portion size was more than expected for the price. I had the chicken quesadilla off the lunch menu and I would recommend it. The rest of my party also enjoyed their meal. If you like your salsa mild, theirs is close to the definition.

Each time we are in the area we try to make a stop for Mexican food at this place. They have good food and good prices. We think this is one of the best places to eat in Hermann if you are like Mexican food. (:

This place serves some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, and this one is currently in my top five. The food is hot, tasty, and well prepared. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The menu has such a vast variety of dishes, including vegetarian dishes, that it might take months for a person to try everything they offer. They also offer a kid's meal selection. The food is awesome, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Five stars all the way, this is the place to go if you want the best Mexican food in Hermann.

Didn't know about Dos Primos until we went last night for dinner. Place sure gets crowded on the weekend but we still got in and out in a fairy quick time. Food is good and flavorful unlike some places I've gone for Mexican. They use lots of cilantro which I love and the hot stuff actually was spicy. All the chicken items we had were loaded with chicken! Food was brought out super quick and plate was piping hot. Salsa was good as were the chips. Only warning is be careful adding things on because somehow are bill seemed much higher which my wife says must have been the guac or cheese dip for the chips, or there sodas. Dinner for 3 was $36 and two of them only got bean burrito and bowl of soup.

The food and drinks are always good! The service is outstanding! Always friendly and helpful. Our favorite place to eat! And they have great coupons in the newspaper!

We went here on the way back from Adum Putcha winery. The food in and around Herman is kind of limited. they are located in a strip mall on the way back to town. All We tried cheese dip, all kinds of fajitas and a burrito and everything was great. We will return when we visit Hermann

xcellent food, and fast service (VERY fast.) We ordered the Chicken Fajitas for Two, portions were huge, vegetables were fresh, and crisp, chicken was moist and encompassed terrific seasoning. The best part- it was more than enough for two! In addition to the wonderful warm homemade chips and fresh salsa, their homemade Guacamole and Queso cheese as an appetizer was amazing. Will definitely be returning in the future. The name 'Dos Primos' sums it up to a tee! (This review is from October 2015.)

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday around 1:00pm. There was only one server and he did a great job even with having 6 tables to take care of. The salsa had flavor and just enough kick to it. My husband and I ordered two things to share. The Quesadilla Special and the Nachos Fajita Mix. They arrived quickly and were hot. We were both happy with our food and the service. We live the next town over and avoid the Mexican restuarant in our town. Dos Primos works to fill your Mexican craving.

This restaurant has a huge menu and the interior is bright and festive. We've only eaten here one time but it was excellent. My only complaint is that it is almost outside the city limit. Wish it was in a more central location.

We ate here on recommendation from our B&B The Starry Nights Inn, and it was very good. They have menu selections that I've never seen at a Mexican restaurant. Excellent chips and salsa!

My family found this lovely little restaurant last week. It is tucked away in a little strip mall beside the Village Market Grocery store. I had the steak tacos and my husband had the Hawaiian chicken. Both were So good!!! And the guacamole is out of this world! Very good cheese dip also, my daughter couldn't get enough! The restaurant its self is very clean and bright. If you are hungry for Mexican give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

This is a new restaurant that just opened in Hermann. It is in what once used to be the old Pizza Hut. It is clean on the inside. It was a little confusing when we first walked in as we didn't know if we were to wait or seat ourselves. The menu is huge and quite extensive. Prices and service were what I expected. As with Mexican restaurants around here, some speak a little better English than others. Our server did bring us out some cheese dip which we did not order, not sure if it was a mistake or not but we didn't pay for it. We both ordered the chimichanga with chicken. The chicken was very tasty, the chimichanga could've been fried a tad bit longer as the tortilla was a little bit doughier than what I prefer and used to getting at other Mexican restaurants. One plus is that part of your side is you get sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole. Most restaurants you would have to pay extra for the guac, so I was very happy that was included. Both of us had water with our meals and we paid $14 with tip for the lunch for two of us. Good value for the amount of food.
