Was down on the Gower exploring and came across the Britannia Inn over looking the estuary. It?s in a lovely rural location lovely and peaceful. Had a good pint of cider and a good well price lunch, good service friendly staff, well worth a visit in your passing.

We enjoy visiting this place and have never been disappointed with the food. There are one or two things that could be better to make the experience more comfortable and pleasing for the customer, firstly the heating in the top area of the restaurant was off and the room chilly until a customer asked for the heating to be turned on. Secondly, in the same area I didn?t want to be looking out at a shed and a ladder, the area could be tidied up. Finally and most importantly the service wasn?t great, the staff appeared attentive but when asked for horseradish sauce for the beef meal, the staff had to be reminded that we had asked for it. Also when we asked for cream with the dessert again we had to remind the staff that we had asked for it when we ordered. Little things but done properly the visit would have been so much better. To the meal, starters of Welsh goats cheese and prawn cocktail was very enjoyable as was the beef dinner, the beef was tender and the veg choice was very good. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight for us, a good sized portion which was light and very tasty. A good tasty Sunday lunch but the overall experience could have been better.

This is in Gower UK not the USA We have had a couple of lovely lunches there. The choice is always interesting, tasty and we weren't rushed at all.

We have had dinner there on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or service. The chef is excellent and the variety of food is excellent, my wife is a veggie and has said that the choice for her is better than the average local restaurant
